BidCandy Scam
Category: Auctions
this company gives you 5 bids for signing up. 5 bids for verifing your email. 10 bids for putting out a tweet. Warning this code only works with 25 % of users. then they let you win a 5 bid beginer pack for 2 cents and 1 bid + 1.00 processing fee. I signed up with 5 different user names, only got scamed the $1.02 once, only got the 10 free with a tweet once, and never won anything, except the beginer bid scam. I had a total of 65 bids and got nothing else. Last night I noticed at 3 am there were hundreds of bots on the site. some paid 15 bids to win 10 bids. same user names over and over. No info is given about bidders unlike others. I am not an advicate for others but I did win my $60.00 back + another $25 or so...all in gift card but I am waiting for 2 weeks now for the last card which is for subway $25.00. I have won 25$ for outback, 25$ for cvs pharmacy, 2 $15 for walmart, 25 points and a $25 subway which they said they mailed 5 days ago. The point is, I know how to bid and on bidcandy it's a bunch of company bots that will always 100% of the time outbid you. To all the folks that paid $60.00 elsewhere, you did get 100 bids for that money. Also, you need to watch how much something usually goes for and don't even put in a 1st bid until the price gets up there. Also, go for the smaller things you wont get on for $60.00/100 bids and win an ipad. It ain't happening. You have to have 500 bids in your arsonal and don't bid till everyone else has wasted there hundreds of bids. till at least 30 or 40$ Another thing is other sites are getting so busy now that everyone is comming in with alot of won bids and when the price is getting high so its harder to be the last man standing. Don't ever buy now for $500.00. go to best buy sign up for a rewards card pay the apple designated price, and get a $25.00 gift certificate from yor rewards statement. Frys doesn't offer this.

I have to agree with the former. That was the most obviously AI populated site I've used. they take turns stopping your bid from finishing, but if I didn't stop the clock the auction finished and the others wouldn't bid. A lot of the prizes go for low, but I don't think it's actual people getting them. I was only trying for a 100 bid pack, I didn't start bidding until around $2.00 when the clock started getting down to 3, and I quit at about $2.60 after stopping the clock at the last second every bid I placed. This is a pretty good sign of something not right when my bids are countered by multiple bidders but they do not bid against each other. I am not plugging any sites, so I don't have anything to gain. I don't think you'll win unlesss they want you to. This was at about 6AM, it may change throughout the day. When I complained and wanted a refund, the customer service rep Leilani, I think it was, was very nice and offered to refund the unused bids but not all of them I placed. She deserves a raise for doing her job well, I was pretty agitated and she listened to my complaints and was sympathetic. I would advise against using the site though, good customer service doesn't change the fact I think they are shill bidding.

Poster is 100% CORRECT. And I'm sure that the second post is someone from the site itself This site is FILLED with bots. They will let you win a "starter" bid pack of 5 or 10 bids, charge you a processing fee, the you will never win again. It's not just that I didn't win, I was watching a 25 bid pack, and 2 "bidders" kept bidding against me, but never each other. Funny, I watched them dump 30 bids each on a 25 bid pack. If you are smart..... save your money. I filed with paypal for a refund for all bid packs purchased, including the processing fee of $1.00. If They don't grant my refund, I will be filing a complaint on ic3.gov

Just a neutral opinion here since I haven't actually made a purchase yet but if i were to guess I would say these posts are being made by a competitor like the second post suggests. I've read all of these posts, then sat on the site and watched for the activity described and did not see it happen. I literally watched dozens of these bidpack auctions and never did I see this happening like this person seems to be desperately trying to claim. In fact I got 20 free bids after confirming my account and then tweeting and won with that a 10 bidpack and a 25 bidpack. I won the 10 bidpack with 2 bids and the 25 with 11 bids. I can confirm 100% for anyone that cares that these appear to be bogus claims. I agree with the second post fully, this really seems like a competitor trying to run a smear campaign. Shady of them....

Well I tried out BIDCANDY despite some reviews I read about bots. Well after buying over 200 bids . Needless to say I should have listened to some of the reviews. You will have up to 4 bidders bots or collusion bidders bid against you, and once or twice against each other but not at the last second to make it look good, but will stop you from winning in turns. Just trying to save somebody the waisted money and time because their auctions take alot of time , but if you have alot of money and can buy alot of bids you, (won't win to many bid packs). I never won one. Maybe you can win an auction. I Never tried to win anything other than bids and never will again closed my account. If you still decide to try the site watch when you see a name you haven't seen before try and win a bid pack. Also watch the collusion bidding. Maybe this will help someone be smarter than I was...........

I can say that I am a keen bidder and that this BIDCANDY auction site is nothing but a cash grabber. Nothing but a scam... Any other respected site will give you info as to winning bidders identity. Some of the participants on this site are mostly bogus bidder user names. There is no reason why we should have all identities hidden from investigation. No integrity whatsoever. Still waiting for the rest of my account bids reinstated to my credit card, and, people, BEWARE. That is my opinion, and I am sticking to it.

I've been playing penny auctions for a while and I think bidcandy is great. I've won a ton of stuff. I have a few techniques that I've learned with bidcandy but this is for sure a legit site. I don't even use a lot of other sites I did before because of how much better I like bidcandy. I guess for each his own...

I am a big time bidder. I am member of 7 bid sites. I just try bidcandy, and i to think they have bots. I won the 5 bids with 1 bid. The. I watch the 10 bid pack sale for 0.10 to 0.14 so i started bidding at 0.10 till it got to 0.34 then i stoped. I try to do six other ten bid pack. I could not win any of then. Thats why i think they have bots. As a person who bids every day. This is one site i will not bid on anymore. If you wont to bid go to quibids.com or bidcatus.com

In 20 starting free promotional bids I managed to win 3 auctions. One 5 bid beginner pack, one 10 bid pack and a 25 dollar Walmart card that came with 50 more bids as well. Haven't even had to spend a dime yet buying bid packs. Grade A site, I'd recommend it to anyone. A ton of fun.
