If you've been scammed and you live in Colorado, you should always report this to the FTC. Although the Colorado Attorney General will not go after a case because of a single complaint, if several people complain they will start to take notice. Part of the reason that Scam Advocates exists is to help educate people that this is one of the most effective methods to help shut down a scammer. Recent reports show huge lawsuits being made on behalf of the FTC and Attorney General's office against big scams, and this sometimes results in class action scams. Remember, if you are a paying customer for any of our guides you will automatically receive alerts for class action scams against the company that scammed you!
